Install Operion from your browser
Open Operion in its own app window using Firefox or Microsoft Edge on Windows. Use your existing account, permissions and live server records. No separate installer or signing subscription is needed for this option.
An internet connection is required. On a Windows virtual machine, follow these steps inside the VM.
- Open Operion in a regular Firefox window, not Private Browsing, and sign in.
- Click the web apps button in the address bar to add Operion as a web app.
- Launch Operion from the Windows Start menu. Pin it to your taskbar if you want quick access.
Requires Firefox 143 or later, or Firefox 150 or later if installed from the Microsoft Store. If the web apps button is missing, check your Firefox version and restart the browser.
- Open Operion in Microsoft Edge and sign in.
- Select the three-dot menu → More tools → Apps → Install this site as an app.
- Name it Operion, then confirm installation. Use Windows Start or pin it to your taskbar.
Web updates load from the existing server; close and reopen the app window if an update has just been deployed. Installation does not create another account or a local server database.
This option requires the browser to remain installed. It does not provide offline access or the separate Windows installer's native updater and release-notes screen.
Optional Windows .exe installer
A separately packaged Windows installer may be offered here after its release is approved. You can use the free browser installation above now.

Workstation policies may require administrator approval. A packaged desktop release and its automatic update feed are managed separately from web updates.
Invoices & billing history
Creation and scheduled delivery are not proof that an email was sent. Open Billing history for verified payment dates when available.
Billing approvals
Review staff onboarding requests here. Internal approval does not collect customer authorization, create a Square subscription or start billing.
Secure Square enrollment is not enabled in this release. Approved requests remain awaiting Square setup and customer authorization.
Customers & plans
Record plans and payment status here. Square processes payments. Saving a profile or cycle does not enroll a customer or start billing.

Authenticator verification
Protect your account with Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, or another TOTP app.
1. Scan this QR with your authenticator app. The secret must remain private.
Or manually enter this key:
2. Enter the six-digit code shown by your authenticator.
After enrollment, save the one-time recovery codes offline. An administrator cannot see your authenticator secret.

Employee accounts
Only administrators can add, disable, reset, delete or change permissions.

Disabling an account immediately invalidates its sessions and unused setup links. After deactivation, administrators can delete employee login/profile data. Historical tickets and audit entries keep a de-identified placeholder; unfinished assigned tickets must be reassigned first.
Deleted tickets
Only administrators can delete tickets or restore them. History is retained. Restored appointments and active work return On Hold for review.
